Story.

Montgomery Commons is the brain child of a handful of Montgomery area residents that relocated to the area between 2019-2021. When COVID-19 brought the challenge of rural internet accessibility to the forefront, and the ever increasing proportion of people working from home highlighted significant limitations in the area, they created MOBI in order to work towards a solution to the benefit of the community. Thus, Montgomery Commons was born.

This vision began as one for a co-working space for community members and tourists alike to use, but this narrow focus quickly evolved as they recognized the community's significant need for office spaces, both shared and private. As they pulled on these strings, they identified a bigger picture opportunity for Montgomery Commons to provide support to local businesses and entrepreneurs.

By meeting the professional needs of the Montgomery Community, both of individual professionals, businesses, and non-profits alike, Montgomery Cmmons seeks to enrich the lives and livelihood of the entire community, ensuring this special community not just survives in rapidly changing times, but thrives.

What kind of spaces do you have available?

We have both an open coworking area, shared offices and private office spaces. We offer day passes and monthly memberships for the coworking space and a monthly membership for the shared office.

What are your hours?

Montgomery Commons is open 24/7 for members, and by appointment Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Can I take phone calls while in the work area?

Yes, but please be mindful of other members and users while conducting calls.

Can we rent out the space for group meetings?

Yes, Montgomery Commons may be booked by local groups/businesses. Reach out directly to confirm availability and cost.

What payment methods are accepted?

Montgomery Commons accepts all major credit cards, check, and cash.

What amenities do you offer?

We offer 500mbs WiFi internet, a fridge, coffee maker and printer services (free up to 10 pages). Our shared office space offers a desk, chair, and a power strip. Co-working spaces include lounge spaces and a central conference table that can seat up to 6 people.
